About us

South Ulverston Art Group are a small group of enthusiastic amateur artists who meet once a week on a Monday  (10am - 2pm) at Croftlands Community Hall in Ulverston, during the autumn and spring terms. Although mostly watercolour, we also use acrylics and oil.  Group members can focus on the medium they most prefer. Sessions are preplanned and involve a mix of own work, themes, landscape paintings, still life and tutorials by a visiting artist.

During the summer months we venture outdoors to various locations throughout Furness and the South Lakes.

We are currently looking for new members from beginners to more accomplished artists. The group is informal and friendly.
